What are you doing on Wednesday, March 22nd, around 7 p.m.?
If you've got plans, we're sure they're great, but you should really be playing trivia with us at the Turf Club! And it's not just any trivia tournament. It's Trivia for Cheaters.
In partnership with Trivia Mafia, MOI is presenting a fundraiser-style trivia night, hosted by Jana Shortal from KARE 11.
Each team must raise $100 per person (all of which will go toward MOI's programming) to participate in the game. From this bank of raised funds, you and your pals can "purchase" cheats to raise your team to the top! And disable other teams while you're at it.
So, for one night, we’re allowing you to cheat. If you think you can put together a team savvy enough to be crowned as trivia champions, you can sign up here.
Some say cheaters never prosper, but the more funds you raise, the more cheats you can buy (and that's the way to win).
All of the event proceeds will go directly back into the mission of the Mid-Continent Oceanographic Institute. With your help, we can continue to offer our ever-growing programs to under-resourced students in the Twin Cities: After-School Homework Help, Storytelling and Bookmaking Field Trips, Young Authors’ Book Project, and In-School Tutoring.
Want to watch, but not play in the game? You can buy a ticket to the spectacle for only $5 to cheer on your friends.
We look forward to seeing you at the Turf Club!
